The father of the infant found in the woods on Sunday has been charged in the death 15-day-old Caliyah McNabb.

Christopher McNabb was charged with malice murder, felony murder, aggravated battery, and concealing a death. A preliminary autopsy report indicates the infant died of blunt force trauma.

The Newton County Sheriff’s Office reported the charges Wednesday morning. McNabb was already being held on a probation violation charge.
